Raiders really should throw crabs a 1 or 2 year deal. He literally has no market right now and he is a very solid number 2. You have the money to spare so even a big 2 year deal is irrelevant in the nfl since it is essentially a one year deal.
If you can throw deals like that at bums last year, there's no excuse not to throw it at younger productive guys this year.

Another thing you have to consider, all things equal, why go to the Raiders? We haven't been shyt for a long time.

I'm not even worried about free agency, I'm worried about the draft. Look at the all the teams that "won free agency" and ended up 8-8 and shyt. Putting together these "all-star teams" (Yes I'm staring directly at the Eagles) and getting nothing. The best teams build from the draft not free agency. You use free agency to fill in holes here and there but your bread and butter and where you build a team for years to come is through the draft. We need to have as good a draft this year as we had last year. That's what it's about. Making sure you draft a core group to be the backbone of the team.

I think a lot of people are overlooking the fact that Leonard Williams WANTS to be a Raider. We gotta start retaining our draft picks and when its time to re-sign him, this should give us an advantage. Yall see how much of a problem we're having trying to convince people to come here. Dudes leaving millions of dollars on the table just to avoid playing in Oakland. We need to get guys who want to be here.
