there is a MUCH better alternative that’s free, faster, has less popups, and provides a broader selection of comics.

i am hesitant to post the site’s url here because i don’t want it to suffer the same fate.

i think it’s great, but people on reddit seem to think its selection isn’t as broad as readcomiconline. i haven’t had any difficulty finding what i’m liking for (i mainly read dark horse and image titles).

I think comic sales are BS, and the industry is being held up by a you scratchy my back i scratch yours with the distributors or it's just a write off

Comic sales are most definitely BS, the whole system is archaic in a way its comical. They get their sales data from pre-orders but don't tell the customers that so people just walk into shops thinking whatever they buy going to get counted. It also relies heavily on comicbook shops, they better thank god pirate sites are still around. No one has enough money to spend $4-5 on a book they may or may not like for multiple titles.

i get my comics through a combination of IPTorrents, Soulseek, and google index search

try typing this into google to find open directories online

intitle:"index of /" "last modified" "cbz"

intitle searches for index pages on servers that dont have proper .htaccess/indexes so you can look through directories. last modified is a listed sort option by default, so it filters out "fake" index pages that pop up on google (yes people do this lol), and cbz is just the format. change cbz to mp3 or rar or whatever you like. you can use it to find open plex servers and steal movies and music as well if you want. lots of free shyt to be had out there. just be careful and dont download a virus!
