Thinking about buying an Jag XF...thoughts brehs?

I have a 08 g35 now. Been living long enough without a payment and am ready for something new. Hoping to get about 5k trade in and will put down maybe a g or so.

Looking at a 2013 or 14 xf. Around 25k miles. Supercharged.

Anything else I should look at in the high 20s low 30s price range???

Advice is appreciated in that price range...

I would def sell privately or go to Carmax............

$30K..... I would go big.... get the XJ. XF is so generic, SWB new XJ is pretty good looking and unique.

In agreement the XJ is much nicer especially the inside but as far as I've seen your talking another 10-12k for them.

The XJ's are a totally different class vehicle...They belong in the S-class,A-8,BMW 750 category..Apple's to Orange's...If you're looking to purchase an XJ by the time you slap an extended warranty on it ,and get one the same model year and mileage ...You are going to spend another $15,000..Maintenance and parts also are more expensive..Comparing an XJ to an XF is like comparing XJ's,A-8,750's to a Rolls-Royce or Bentley.These are the vehicle's I would check out in this segment..Infinity M-56 boring, no personality...Lexus GS female ride,doesn't stand out...Only plus-side I see in these two are maintenance cost...Now in this Class vehicle these are the ones I would consider purchasing a BMW 5 series not my cup of tea ,but they handle like a sport's car..Audi A6 best interior in class i.m.o ,exterior's nice also......I probably would've copped the Audi if I didn't get my XF..Keep in mind parts and maintenance are going to be more than your G35 whichever vehicle you decide to go with.

And op need to pass whatever he puffin on thinking he gonna get 5 racks trade in value for a 10 year old G35. He'd be lucky to get half that. Don't ever trade your car in, EVER. Be patient and sell that bytch yourself. If it takes you 6 months to sell it then so be it. It's better than getting tried at the dealership.

I'm just about to turn in fully loaded 2014 (f-sport, awd, every option) after my 27 month lease. Car gave me no problems and was definitely not a bytch's car.
