man for $300, you could get an SP 404. i just got one and it's so dope, it was on sale on amazon and it's got a big following. Madlib, samiyam, flylo, etc

I have one. I use it as a beat scratchpad. Very good at getting ideas down and you can export patterns as an Ableton Live set.

The synthesis on it isn't bad either. Its a bit of a learning curve, but you can definitely make some heat. Peep the Korg Electribe 2 group on facebook to see what people are chopping up.

Im interested in it but every youtube video are almost house or techno beats. I want to some boom bap or hip hop videos.
