If you want to date within your own race, cool. Who is going to stop you?
If you want to date someone else, who is going to stop you?
People get way too excited over it.

I'm incredibly close to my sister-in law and her entirely family (pretty much as close as I am to my family). If my brother had married a white person, I wouldn't be. I would keep it surface level, and have no desire to get to know them on a deep level.
