i understand that calling a movie like this "boring" opens the door for "hey idiot, go watch a Michael Bay movie, you idiot. Stupid fukkin idiot, splosions!!!!" but so be it. I didn't find it compelling at all, and I thought Steve Carrel - who is warranting award talk - sounded ridiculous and hammed it up.I understand Good day to you sir
I appreciated the 4th wall stuff, and was very engaged early as we met the characters but as it went on all i could think was "man, if i wanted to know all the ins and outs of this housing crisis, i could have read like 1 fukkin article about it." this shyt was a stylized boring documentary with some famous Hollywood faces mixed in. Had its moments, but you can keep it.
Also, though Adam McKay was in over his head with the directing as it wasn't a good looking movie to me. Bunch of weird cuts and transitions (probably intentional) and tons of shakey cam.

I really wanted to like it but I didn't. Towards the end I was paying more attention to my tablet. The characters talking to the camera was cringe worthy instead of witty. It was interesting learning about the shady things banks do but this movie fell flat for me personally.
but I reminded her that this the same cac that made Django. Not necessarily giving him a pass, but it is historically accurate and shyt so
.
. shyt be looking shot in 360p and all the special efx is just
