Great choices but might be too much for newbie to western flicks. The pacing I mean. I'd recommend the new classics like Tombstone and Unforgiven. Bone Tomahawk is nice too.

3:10 to Yuma is a nice starter joint for western newbies too.

I love westerns and I even find once upon a time in the west to be somewhat of a slog. but from a cinematography and music standpoint its

It boasts the most overrated director today with another miscast Jennifer Lawrence role and is about the inventor of a mop. I wouldn't watch this even if it was 100% on rotten tomatoes

The Fighter was a good movie... but it was another movie about a friggin boxer. It didn't exactly break any molds. Not to mention Warrior came out around the same time and was a much better movie but didn't get the award love. I didn't see Silver Linings b/c it looked insufferable. American Hustle isn't even a kind of good movie. it's a knockoff of a Scorsese knockoff with no redeeming qualities. His best movie is Three Kings, which i really like, but that was what? 15 years ago? He's absolutely the most overrated director working b/c he's become an award show mainstay and has no business being up there.

Silver linings was decent, I could only stand 10 minutes of american hustle, they owe wolf of wall street that award and they know it, warrior was ok didnt see warrior or maybe I did but forgot about it, yea IMDB was right I will skip this movie
