Timberwolves in probably the worst position a team can be in.

Top 5-8 team in the league
WAAAYYY too good to start tanking
Great team chemistry and culture
Great roster setup
Consistently top 2/3 team in the conference

But 1 and 2 are just better :francis:

Genuinely what do you do at that point? Something gotta change but there’s no move you can make that will actually make you substantially better than you are right now either.

Eh, they’re down 2-1 in a series with their best player not close to 100% and a key piece not playing.

No reason at all for them to panic.
And their internal development seems to be pretty effective. I wouldn't rush shyt just yet. That's how fans start to moonwalking backwards. They just had a revelation with how to incorporate Shannon effectively too.

If they get past the Spurs that's 3 straight conference final appearances in a row. Nothing to sneeze at.

People pull hamstrings or turn ankles all the time in the playoffs. Nothing's guaranteed.

I do agree with the premise that there's no path to victory with them vs a 100% OKC team but that's why they play the games

Their player development does seem to be pretty elite, and Finch is an elite coach. You gotta hope one of these other guys turns into an All-Star level player, and Ant ascends into that Shai/Wemby/Jokic/Luka tier of player.

Any "moves" would ultimately weaken the roster, they have a strong team.

Trade away a top rated center breh.
Fail to make a twin towers breh.

Minnie-ap already ruined this by trading kat.

they were poised for the future. Yet still listening to bullshyt dumbshyt. That makes no theoretical sense in theory. Or application to long term championahip success in the nba.

After last night, i'm convinced Anthony Edwards is fully healthy

Minny failed by trading away KAT. They spent so many years trusting him, they beat a stronger Denver two years ago with KAT being important piece to that success and then they decided to trade him for a tweener.

The fact that Minnesota still finds a way to get further than 1st tound shows you what they could've been had they kept that core from two years ago.

Rudy
KAT
Naz
McDaniels
Ant
And few more players. NAW I suppose they couldn't afford but even he is doing well in Atlanta. They had a very talented roster and still do... But not as one of the championship favorites.
