....
I use a regular Andis no Guard :flabbynsick:- from Target or Walgreens etc. - that's the best way for me .. I use two mirrors or a mirror and a phone to get the back right. I use it to do the line up also... I buy a new one roughly every year.

Whatever you do.... Get andis t outliners for the line

GOAT line up clips, there is a reason why all barbers have em, good ones that know how to cut black hair that is.

I do, u just may need to get them adjusted by a barber or simply buy a deep tooth blade for your t outliner...

I wouldn't say you need a barber to do it, but you could get a zero gapper to help with making them sharp.

Also OP, look on YouTube for a tutorial on how to cut the top of the outliner for air flow.

That's what you want, your shyt won't get hot and you can get the blade in more precise areas.

How the he'll do y'all cut the back of your head...

i am surprised nobody has mentioned a hand held mirror.
i've been cutting my own hair since i was 15 and i always use the bathroom mirror and a hand held mirror.

that's the only way to get the back or even the sides.

the second mirror is a no brainer.
but another thing you have to have is a good ear for the clipper.

when you are blending and fading you need to listen to the clippers so you know when to stop a stroke of the blades.
you cut the lowest level of hair first with the mirror.
then you do the blend / fade by ear.

zzzzz stop zzzzz stop...
not zz stop zzzzzzz stop z stop zzzzzzz stop.

control the speed of your hand moving the clippers and listen to the blades.

i do quite a bit of my cuts with no mirror but i most def need them in the beginning and the end.

What's the best clippers for cutting it bald?

clippers will never get you "bald bald".
only razors can do that.

i use oster clippers to cut my hair and shave my face if i don't want to use a razor.
luckily i don't have to deal with razor bumps.
my dad had razor bumps and they fukked his shyt up.
