I agree with you. But until more black people become staffed in positions of principal, cps workers, police and judges we are going to continue to be at the mercy of their collective judgements and decisions.

We see it all the time, while judges saying "Boys will be boys" and giving white kids slaps on the wrist, i.e that kid in Texas who killed people while drunk driving and fled to Mexico with the assistance of his mother and got a light sentence due to "affluenza", that rapist white kid from usc or whatever the swimmer.

You see and hear white cops release white criminals into custody of their parents or give them multiple chances due to cultural understanding or benefit of the doubt.

If we had black cops who understand that getting swatted with a purse strap isn't child abuse but can acknowledge that a situation regarding the child's head making contact with a locker could be considered abuse, a thorough investigation and trial may conclude the mom went to far with the head / locker thing and due to other information, testimony and statements during the investigation a more appropriate solution may be in order such as court ordered family therapy, court ordered individual therapy, parenting classes, follow up consultations with cps and maybe a significantly less jail time, all with the goals or attempts to mend and or repair the family instead of shatter an already fragmented family.
