News to me: Apparently Tomonubu Itagaki (director of Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2) originally created Devil's Third for Microsoft but they didn't want it because it didn't have Kinect or Social Networking features lol. Stupid. As a result, Itagaki had to change it for the Wii-U release.
The ups, downs and future of Tomonobu Itagaki's Devil's Third
This is really sad news. The greatest action games of the 2000s besides God of War was Ninja Gaiden and Devil May Cry (directed by Hideki Kamiya). Microsoft had the directors of these games in the palm of their hand and dropped the ball. This shyt is worst than Nintendo dropping Rare.
Rant:
The greatest action game I've ever played was Ninja Gaiden Hurricane Pack Vol. 1. It was better than any Ninja Gaiden game including Ninja Gaiden Black, Sigma and all the sequels. Most people assume that Ninja Gaiden Black had everything from the Hurricane Packs but it did not. Some things were taken away, such as features of the action engine, specifically Technique Scroll: Intercept....and it was free. http://m.ign.com/articles/2004/07/17/ninja-gaiden-hurricane-pack-vol-1-qa
