But it doesn't surprise me, no.. X-Men comics throughout the 80s and 90s had some of the GOAT story lines and the animated series was a huge hit also. Plus, the differentiating between each of their respective powers, cool villains, the in-rivalries, the love triangles... the civil rights comparisons..

They had everything. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has done wonders with the Avengers team and with casual comic book supporters but the diehard comic heads gonna love them some X-Men. It's stupid for Disney to bury them because there's so much money to be made off toys, video games, etc.. Disney isn't seeing the bigger picture.

I actually thought Wolverine would be #2 behind Spidey.

He is but not as popular as the x men or Peter. That's why you gotta put stuff like that in perspective. He's popular now; these cats have been popular for decades. But for him to be tied with Norman is an accomplishment in itself

That list is ridiculous. They should of just used sales figures to get an accurate gauge.

Half the ppl in the top ten can't hold a solo series. Thier books don't move and they can't hold a run past 6 issues before they are canceled cause nobody buys them.

Terrible list. Nightcrawler/Emma Frost over Hulk.
The majority of ppl don't even know who Emma Frost is.

Gambit and Rogue are nowhere near that popular today..everything they touch gets canceled or relaunched but that website has a thing for cheering them on. So that seems about right and Storm's last series got nearly embarrassing numbers.

The 3 top X characters are Wolverine, Magneto, and MAYBE you get away with saying Cyclops because he got pushed so hard even though he can't hold a series for shyt. The creators and him being part of the Uncanny cast is why his books last. CBR list and they got Doom under all of those characters? CBR jerks off to Doom more than any other character at that site.
