Yes they are already illegally immigrating but what's the % of that when you live all the way across the Atlantic to have such an effect on immigration numbers. I doubt the journey to Africa into Mexico/Latin America the into the United States is going to become more conventional. Illegal immigration into Europe is a lot more feasible than across the Atlantic to South/Latin America and eventually the US.
