Even if Phil led the Knicks to an NBA title it would have been highway robbery with the money Dolan paid him.
This is a good move for the Knicks. A GREAT MOVE would be finding someone to buy the franchise from Dolan. Surely Jeff Bezos or Michael Bloomberg have a few dollars to spend.
In any case, I'm curious what this means for the kind of basketball the Knicks intend to play this season. Without Phil's insistence on the Triangle, what does Hornacek press the team to do now?
(Not that I think Hornacek is the right coach for this team anyway, but...)
