:lupe: This is a Eddie Murphy AND Wes Craven classic I've never seen, so it's like I'm knocking down 2 birds with 1 stone here.

Love this movie and Angela was sooo damn fine in it. I hate how we can't just do some fun goofy shyt, the movie was mindless fun and i enjoyed every minute of it. Whenever black folks make a movie they want us to always have some deep message behind it, but Bradley Cooper and them can keep making those stupid ass hangover sequels.

one of my faves right here.....have no clue why critics hated it so much, guess it was too many black folks in it just like harlem nights

oh and angela bassett :noah:

I never understood the hate as well. I always liked the black exploitation feel it had with the mix horror added in.
Preacher Paulie scene had me :deadmanny:

i later appreciated this flick. Watchable, funny and pretty chilling in places.
I wanted to put it as an updated version of Blackula, but maybe not so.
i get what youre saying but :whoa: at the comparison to the Blacula flicks...the great William Marshall stands on his own
