at putting this garbage ass low brow shyt in combination with the true goat white comedy show.Its obvious Russell shot Gamby. I do think in some warped way though he sees Gamby as a friend and so he wanted to shoot gamby so that he can keep Gamby as Vice Principal while maintaining his friendship with him. They went out of their way to say the shooter was a bad shot and that he didn't hit any vital organs which plays into the idea that he plotted to put Gamby out of commission for a while while he got full honor as Principal.

So the opening scenes of Season 2 of Vice Principals had me thinking about this Halloween sequel Danny McBride and David Green Gordon are working on and it definitely had those Halloweenish vibes the first one had with the overall creepy stillness of Michael Myers with those all people wearing the mask in Gamby's dream.
