I get that you're against eating a dog. If you're raised to believe that dogs are more a part of the family, then at this point in your life nothing is going to change your mind. However any animal can be domesticated. You can residentially raise a chicken or a duck, in some states a pet monkey, granted no one is eating monkey meat (hopefully). Where do you draw the line? American has weird standards on eating except when we find it acceptable to push the standards. Eating sushi has been mad popular for the last 15 years or so in America. I can tell you some grown folks that were grown in the early 90's whether white or black, mexican didn't fukk with sushi. They knew what it was, considered it acceptable as they weren't shy about eating tuna/salmon and shyt but to ask those people now if they were to fukk around and eat sushi as a 30 year old in '91 they tell you "hell naw"
In north america it's not too popular to eat the heads of animals, any animal. where in other cultures and country any edible part of an animal is edible- the head, eyes, tripe (stomach lining), tongue---
You probably have to be cultured in some sort of way to eat a cows head, other cultures eat goats head, camels head, horse head, fish head soup is a real dish....The likelihood of you actually going to a culture where you can legitimately order dog or cat off the menu is slim to none but you might eat some shyt and not even know it. There are american restaurants that will serve you lion meat, Would you eat that? Ostrich is becoming more mainstream to eat in America but it's still not super common, alligator is pretty common especially if you are in the south. Rabbit, squirrel, etc...
