Also, at what point EXACLTY is it ok to defend yourself? She pushed him, she hit him...he reacted. Is he supposed to wait until she pulls out a knife? Pepper sprays him? Bites him? If a woman ran up on you right now and physically attacked you are you just gonna stand there like and eat the slaps to the grill?

If your life is threatened to where it's self-defense, then you do what you have to. Pick your battles. You see she walked in with another guy, presumably someone she knew. At that point you put the onus on him to check her. The problem is we as men NEVER wanna take that L. You can restrain her. You can block her hands. Shake the shyt outta her if you have to. In that situation, you just have to remove yourself from it. It fukking hurts, but it beats this.
