I think he had the right to do this because she initiated the contact, but it was still an incredibly stupid decision on his part. You can't be this dumb when your future is on the line.

I probably would say he's undraftable to me based on this

Were you the same person the day you stepped into college and the day you stepped out?

you're missing the point. there's something called proportionality. basically, it means equal punishment for equal crime. you don't use the death penalty on someone who steals from a bank or commits a B&E. It's the same here...you don't punch someone with full force if they lightly slap you in the face. That's the law.
I'm not missing the point I understand all that. All I said was it surely isn't the equivalent of shooting her. But anyway according to him she hit like a man. I doubt that but yeah:manny:

In terms of not punching women as hard as I can in the face ? Yeah I'd like to think so.

Mixon is slightly more draftable than I was coming out of or going in to college so he should be holding himself to a higher standard in public than I would have to anyways

So you ignore 2 plus years of maturing, growth and staying out of trouble for something someone did once?

Greg Hardy , Ray Rice and a bunch of other people can't get jobs because no one wants to deal with the backlash of these types of things.

Fair or not, big time athletes are under much more scrutiny than anyone else. You can lose a career and millions in seconds from one decision, so you better keeping yourself as far away as possible from the terrible decisions.

It's not really right or fair but it is what is

Sad you think like this. One mistake or negative incident in life at a young age and that's it. Not to bring race into this but please don't tell me you're black with this way of thinking?
What about all the NFL players that did get a 2nd shot your Ray Lewis, Pacman Jones, Donte Stallworth, LeGarrette Blount, Aqib Talib, Sean Taylor, Adrian Peterson etc who got in trouble at one point in their life?

I hate this argument. What are you supposed to do, slap them back lightly and only increase your force as they do? Play dangerous games, win dangerous prizes.

A simple shove, slap or shake would suffice. A haymaker is some sucker shyt.
