I know he made a dumb choice that will likely haunt him his entire career but legally he was in the right to defend himself, but since we live in a system of white supremacy the black person is always in the wrong.

There's still a lawsuit in progress (she's suing him) and the media has been petitioning them to release the video because it's public record or something like that. Mixon's lawyers finally gave in so it could just go away
