I'm confused. Cam Newton did it. Doesn't make sense to transfer to another D1 school and ride the bench. He can play one season and go back to D1. There are always teams that need QB's.

a) its caught clear as fukking day on on video, and didnt blow up in the media until after the video was released
b) it was a guy at florida state, which was already in hot water for its part in the handling of a very recent sexual assault allegation, also involving a member of the football program
c) he hit a woman, which is as sensitive an issue in athletics as its ever been

lol @ thinking the sports media isnt going to make a story out of some jackass athlete coldcocking a woman in 2015, and it being displayed for the world to see on video which makes it real which makes it a much bigger story.

He shoved two women against the bar repeatedly. The violence began with his shoving. Nobody else at the bar was as pushy as DJohnson. He was too excited to get that booze?

If some stranger cornered you and started shoving you against a barrier/wall, then it could be reasonable to punch and/or push them in order to get them off you.

Leave race and gender out of it. Use common sense. How do reasonable ppl comport themselves when ordering at crowded bars?

if hes a big time prospect, of course they are going to bring up an incident thats cemented on video during the draft process. its not an allegation that was dropped. its presented in plain as day fashion. why would something like that get ignored the way social media is driving things these days. you cant even tweet sideways about sensitive issues and have it go away, let alone be dropping broads on video and hoping it disappears
