Obama was ending his term by normalizing relations with Cuba and a bunch of businesses was ready to do business with them. This also made these white Cubans mad as fukk in Florida but fukk them. Its a shame that Trump came in and undone all of that because of the white Cubans and because Obama did it. That would have been a great opportunity for US industry and for Cubans who were looking to get out of poverty with normal trade relations with the rest of the world.

Different Cubans. "White" Cubans were mad at Obama for normalizing relations with Cuba. They want us to continue Cold War era economic policies and make the (mostly black) people of Cuba suffer.

Not all Cubans are white Cubans breh.

The white Cubans here probably long cut ties with the homeland. More likely to be black and brown Cubans who send money home. Like someone said, white Cubans here in the US support things like this just like they support trade embargoes that have made the country poor. This is why Cubans in Cuba are driving cars from the 50s and shyt.


Guillermo Rigondeux is an example a more recent Cuban immigrant helping his family back in Cuba.
