CDC came out and said vaccinated could spread COVID-19 just as easily as unvaccinated individuals, so the chances aren't reduced after all.

That's not necessarily true though......... the vaccine reduced the likelihood that someone would show symptoms and not that they won't still catch COVID-19. Problem is those asymptotic people can still spread and catch COVID-19 without even realize it as they aren't showing symptoms enough to realize what's going on.
With that being said, they still need to get vaccinated. I'm just clearing up the misinformation on your part.
