I get what you're saying but he's not saying that the rant was part of the plan...using the rant was part of the plan.

It wouldn't surprise you to find out that the NFL, multiple media outlets who broadcast the NFL and Vegas soortslines didn't come up with a way to manipulate bettors?

First thing that happened after that was everyone was saying "he's a thug from Compton"...

If the NFL wanted to do the same to Cam all they have to do is show him constantly doing the dab, show how he and coach went for a two point conversion while they were already up by three touchdowns, talk about he constantly upstages his opponents by dabbing after every TD, then giving the ball to kids (like it's a bad thing) and then lastly show the pictures of his teammates clowning and taking pictures on the sidelines while the game is still in session.

Anyone that is a proper gambler or pays even quasi-attention to the NFL won't switch up their bet because one team's QB dances or because their DB got mad during an interview. It just won't happen. Marshawn is the most standoffish cat in the NFL and white people be eating him up. He's been on Conan, got his interview lines trademarked, and gets love universally. That's some shyt that would affect a soccer mom or a beta man.

I get annoyed with this because people throw this goofy shyt out and then come up with these convoluted explanations, but when someone presents how much actual real life practical coordination it'd take to pull off that type of plan they shrug it off or say the NFL is all powerful. It's an insult to anyone that's ever played. Peyton can't feel his hands. Thomas Davis is on his 3rd ACL reconstruction. Do you really think they're puppets on some owner's string? PLUS that's not even mentioning the blow back if they got caught. It's not even worth them manipulating because of the consequences.....and they would especially in this age where anyone dry snitches for attention.

You do realize that the Superbowl is the most bet on sporting event every year right? They aren't worried about the experienced bettors they are worried about that extra spike and the ones who bet but aren't experts, those are the ones they want to get emotionally invested in the game.

I ain't trying to change your mind Im just trying to get you to look at it from both sides...this is one of the reasons I think the NFL decided to go full time with the two weeks in between, at one time the SB was played a week after the CONFERENCE championship games and they still did everything in between with media sessions and shyt. Wait a week longer and you get people who start believing "this is a sure thing let me lay a bet down"

NFL conducting “comprehensive” Peyton Manning investigation

NFL conducting “comprehensive” Peyton Manning investigation

In the midst of criticism from those who think that the NFL has applied different standards to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady regarding #DeflateGate and Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning regarding allegations of HGH use, the NFL has disclosed that it is conducting a comprehensive investigation of Manning.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy tells the Associated Press that the league launched an investigation “weeks ago,” and that it entails the review of records, interviews, and coordination with other agencies.

It seems to be a direct reaction to the report from ESPN that the NFL declined an invitation to collaborate with Major League Baseball and the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, since that created the perception (accurate or not) that the league is brushing the entire Manning situation under the rug.

The overriding challenge from the NFL comes from its lack of power to obtain information from anyone other than Manning or any other NFL player, team, or employee. With no subpoena power, there’s one way to get the information that goes directly to the heart of the allegation that Manning’s wife received HGH for use by Peyton: To obtain from Manning and his wife legal authorization to obtain from the Guyer Institute any and all documents or other evidence regarding the treatments they received.

Without that, the league will have to wait for a prosecution of the Guyer Institute or civil litigation arising from the situation to ever get to the truth.

Regardless of whether the NFL gets to the truth, many are noticing the obvious differences between last year’s public #DeflateGate investigation and the secrecy that ordinarily applies when the league investigates potential player wrongdoing — and most can’t appreciate the nuance.

:upsetfavre: The reason we even had that recession in 08 is because the rates were too low. A successful economy cannot have a fed funds rate at or near 0%.
