Wale is a better rapper than J Cole IMO. Wale has BEEN rapping his ass off for years.

Not sure about Drake though. i really don't think nikkas understand how Comeback Season is a borderline classic.

Wale definitely at least deserves to be in the conversation if we're talking about quality of music. Since he dropped More About Nothing in 2010 (a great tape itself), he's crushed Self Made 1, put out a dope mixtape in 11/1/11 Theory, dropped a dope album in Ambition, crushed Self Made 2, dropped one of the mixtapes of the year in that Folarin joint and just dropped a near classic album in that Gifted joint. That's a run that you can put up there with any of the young nikkas, and to be honest, it's in contention for the top spot IMO in terms of content over that timeframe from any mainstream young rapper.

After seeing J. Cole wreck this funkmaster flex freestyle and the fact that Drake doesn't even do "freestyles" since that Blackberry fiasco. Its obvious that Cole is better rapper when it comes to straight spitting/rapping....

Drake is probably better studio artist and comes up with hooks and good melodies. But like someone said everly most of his songs are mostly the same Content Wise... "Over, Headlines, Started from the Bottom" are basically the same kinda songs with different beats...

I don't hate Drake and I think he is a really good artist, I just think rapping gets overrated and content isn't very vast...

Cole is too. I'm a big fan of his. Very happy with the album that he put out, very happy to see him moving the number of units he's moving and to be honest, I'm happy with the work all of the new era dudes have been putting in.
