:comeon:

Look mane....its obvious YOUR NOT BLACK

im not only a businessman myself...but i know plenty of small black business owners themselves

such as restaurant owners...salon owners..barbershop moguls..funeral home owners..car detail and used car dealership owners and we all voice the same concern WHY CANT WE NETWORK TOGETHER?

And wr all realize its something thats been inherent in our culture since the days of desegregation

and its not limited to just private industry

look at the underworld of crime

one thing blacks are not known for is being Productive at the ORGANIZED CRIME level

thats why the BMF syndicate was so phenomonal because as Meech says its rare to see black people with money feom different areas and sets united.....

all those bosses putting away petty differences to get money

something that could happen in the black private industry if. mofos stop the self hatred and adulation of europran culture and just network

But just as a WHITE ECONOMICS PROFESSOR told me

"Black folks are more suspicious of Black Folks than white people are"

Hate to say it he right..we always feel we are inferior or gonna hustle each.other

But thats just a NEGATIVE PERCEPTION we have of each.other...but THATS NOT REALITY
:whoa:

I have yet to hear any negative feedback from the clients i sold.ad spots to for the black owned internet radio show i co owned

i still believe in my people..and thats why I BELIEVE DAME DASH :salute:
My point is that you can network w/ anyone though (regardless of race).
Im not disagreeing w/ you on the point that a lot of black folks are full of it....but you cant expect people to network for no reason..it has to be mutually beneficial (Dame being the example).

You coming up on your own (if thats how it has to be done) helps black folks in the long run.

I was specifically talking about Dame...he's just bitter that nobody wants to mess w/ him...has nothing to do w/ race. I bet he wasnt talking all that "build" shyt when he was on top. He was talking down to everyone, not realizing nobody stays on top forever.

where do you see this "plenty" of Black folks working together all the time?

:lupe:

or are you pointing at outliers in a "Oprah's a billionaire, therefore Black people aren't doing bad" kinda way?

:lupe:
I see it because I pay attention to certain industries.
They dont go around saying "hey, were black and networking!"...they just work.

People also need to understand that nobody is going to fukk w/ you just because you are black...you have to deliver superior service and products.

Dame knows the biz. :ehh:
Its a good point hes making too...although he waited until he was damn near shoved out of the game to finally say something. :beli:
Still seems like he is missing the fame tho & a bit bitter. He has done his fair share of dividing/shady dealings as well:ufdup:

Dude you have a very optimistic..yet unrealistic NAIVE mind
...

im a sum up a real reason why WE.AS BLACK BUSINESS PEOPLE CANT NETWORK..

and u can agree to disagree..and u can accuse me of being a conspiracy based.Race baiter

but in reality based on my experiences ...interactions with older folks and my research

The culprit is THE WHITE ESTABLISHMENT and the GOVERNMENT

even 50 Cent realizes this:

"When niccas get POLITICAL and Start to maneuver..they give u a Hundred years...mane they did it to Hoover!

:manny:

History has shown in the case of the numerous "black wall streets" we had such Grape
.Apple and Pine intersection in Tulsa....West Broad street in Savannah....Rosewood in florida....125th in Harlem...Auburn Ave in Atlanta

Corporate America and COINTELPRO have a historic.disdain for.collective black.businesses

this is why DAME DASH said it "gets gangsta" when u dealing with Distribution Networks

just imagine if black moguls formed black owned distribution firms

we could cut out the middle man and stop getting TURNED UP foe a CHECK

and really become BOSSES AND CONTROL OUR DESTINY

the establishment dont wanna see that and have ised every tactic even utilizing the MAFIA to make sure that doesnt happen as evident in actions of Lew Wasserman and his Made Men at MCA

or genovese affialiate Tommy Mottala and Irving Azoff the jewish poison dwarf

or look up the case.of former black multimillonare DAVID HYATT who is now serving two life sentences on yrumped up chargws because some c00ns qanted to break up his attempt to form a major distribution network...

or the case i looked into about some Black cosmetix stusents and properiters in Georgia who.are being detered from opening busineses because of a Korean Business.association (mafia like union) and a.apathetic government that givea geants and low intrest loans to immigrants that are not available to small business owners

and lets not get to talking about Bill Slick Willie CLINTONs Urban Empowerment Zone plan of the 90s whi h badically put the nail in the coffin of small black urban busineses because.of its Gentrification practices...

so dont tell me shyt about US MAKING EXCUSES...

just like my pops said.

blacks unifying is a SCARY.THING

even two or more niccas gathered at the water cooler at the job is considered a CONSPIRACY

I don't know if its that black people don't want to work together, but what I do see is that many of us have a failure to see the bigger picture and take a risk when it come to dealing with each other once nikkas get to a certain level....But if a white man with some power comes in and validates they movement and tells them its money to be made by working with them nikkas will be on :krs:....I think some nikkas just believe in that old money, for sumbody like Dame who takes risk that must be frustrating when you see dudes unwilling to take that leap of faith and get that real wealth IF it works. But I understand nikkas comin from nothing and making it and not wanting to take a risk too. But you cant help but notice some dudes is quicker to take a risk with that white man and partner up as if just cuz the white man is long money that means he will make moves that will make YOUR money secure. His money so long the shyt he fukin wit you on could be a hobby or a loss he willing to take because that lil bit of money means nothing.

exactly!!...........

u don't know how frustrating it was trying to make a sales pitch to black business owners to get them to buy advertising on my station ....... :snoop:

i had to go above and beyond just to prove to them that i was just as Credible and had just as much intregity as the White owned internet stations...

the "suscpicions" that they held was always on some ...... "this n1gga talk the talk..but can he walk the walk" :mjpls:

and i understand believe me...but it was because of years of self hatred and trust issues that they had with themselves as opposed to whether i would follow thru with the plans...

even my business owner...this muthaphuka would drag his feet as far as reaching out to black businesses.....

but when he seen an opportunity to land a corporate based white own cell phone provider...this nikka was :mj: c00ning it up....

i mean had a lovely well written business propasal plan, even dressed up appropiatly for these "white folks"......

when the whole time i use to see him give negroes the run around.....i.e (not returning calls, cancelling meetings and appointments)

i even had to apologize to one black client because the date we agreed to air his "commercial spot" ...

my so-called patnah decided he wasn't gonna be broadcasting that day , because of "techincal difficulties"

when in actuallity he decided to take that evening off to go trick off on his girl at a steak house....

so i understand the distrust......believe me i do...but i still have faith that thier are like minded brothers out thier who can be PROFESSIONAL and HONEST at the same time...and i've met them......... :jawalrus:
