What are some of your favorite movies from the 2000's (2000-2010)

"No Country for Old Men" - Bardem gave a performance of a lifetime

"There Will be Blood" - DDL doing his thing

"Memento" - When I was first introduced to Christopher Nolan

I'm not the type of the guy to hold movies dear to my heart so a favourite means that I find it rewatchable - though it isn't fresh, I don't tend to tire of watching it.

Fun fact, today I learnt that Emperor's New Groove's release is closer to Back to the Future's than it would be to a movie today, or any movie since 2016

Good choices in this thread, There were some classics in the 2000's but there was a lot of rom-com trash too. I'll throw out some that are a little artsy that people might not normally give a chance:

• A very long engagement
• Amelie (where the roaming gnome comes from)
• O Brother where art thou?
• Babel

But lots of slept on Scifi too:

• War of the Worlds (got shyt on because Tom Cruise was getting all Sceintology-ish at the time)
