I just saw him open for Noname in Brooklyn last night. I loved his energy and stage presence, although I thought the music was just "okay".
Also, his performance was way more produced and polished than that of the actual headliner. He heavily strikes me as one of these industry-planted "indie" artists, a la Chance the Rapper.
I'll have to take some time to listen to some more of his music to form a clearer opinion.
