What Are Your Views On Spirituality? (Would It Help The Black Community More Than Religion?)

NO RELIGION BASHING


Alright, in the past year and a half I had an epiphany This all started when I took Pilaties during my second semester in college. All of a sudden, I started to open my third eye/ pineal gland. I know feel like I am more aware of the world now. Anyway, I know there's a lot of spirituality stuff out there. I'm not trying to create a religion bashing thread. However, would it be better if Blacks started to follow Spirituality instead of Christianity? Because Christianity really hasn't been working for our community. Anyway, opening my third eye was scary for me at the same time. Because I would get nightmares and sleep paralysis. What are your views on this?





I think Spirituality would be better totally. It could help people learn about themselves better. I've been thinking for a long time to turn to something spiritual or Buddhism to help guide me.

Also, I don't know if this is the right forum to post in about this. If not just move it.

I have not stopped my ears against the words of Right and Truth .
I have not burned with rage.
I have not worked grief.
I have not acted with insolence.
I have not avenged myself.
I have not stirred up strife.
I have not been an eavesdropper.
I have not wronged the people
I have done no harm nor have I done evil
I have not worked treason.
I have never fouled the water.
I have not spoken scornfully.
I have never cursed God.
I have not behaved with arrogance.
I have not envied or craved for that which belongs to another.
I have not filched food from the mouth of the infant.
I have done no hurt unto man, nor wrought harm unto beasts.
I have never magnified my condition beyond what was fitting.
