Real shyt, Cavs issue is IDENTITY....when Kyrie was there they were a perimeter team, JR could shoot plus love....etc etc....now they need to be a driving in the paint team, cuz far too often do they go cold for multiple quarters at a time.

They have A LOT more issues that a center isn't going to miraculously fix.

On the contrary I think a defensive minded center should erase a lot of the problems they have on the defensive end. If they have a rim protector (Deandre) that can limit or affect penetration they can guard the 3 point line. It would take discipline though, and if it happens to be Deandre he has his own issues he brings to the table, but that should help a lot.

If you get an offensive center like Boogie (they not trading him btw), he brings you some interior scoring, but he wouldn't remedy their issues on defense, he opens up the floor but that was never really an issue to begin with. So in that regard then I would agree with you.
