Fun fact . . what does the song "The Way I Am" Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" have in common?

Both were written by the artist as a result of their frustration with the label's demands for their lead single. For Sara they wanted a love song and she wrote that "Not gonna write you a love song" song then for Eminem they wanted another "Hi My Name Is" before they greenlighted his album . . his frustration inspired him to write "The Way I Am". After getting that off his chest "The Real Slim Shady" was the next song he did after that

When he did "Just Lose It" . . whoever greenlighted that absolutely let the corny levels go over the top that "ahhh ahhhh ahhhhh ahhhh" on the chorus is probably the worst vocal/lyric combination to ever appear on radio

Also inspired 1.7 million people to buy his album first week . . and I believe it was the most played song ever on the radio, you'll have to fact check that because I might be thinking of "In Da Club" but the song definitely had the crossover appeal and top 40 radio play
