Him adjusting that catch phrase to avoid copyright infringement :mjlol:

If you feel like watching the whole promo. I don't really know what was going on at this time, but I think it was the period where Hogan and Bischoff wanted them to "compete with the WWE" and re-ignite the Monday Night Wars. Yeeaaa.....

HAHA in the full promo when he says he's now an online porn director, it cuts to a woman that just looks utterly disgusted.

Venis is definitely an example of a decent wrestler with decent look and decent mic skills getting glass ceiling'd strictly because of his gimmick.

Actually cannot believe TNA just tried to rehash his old WWF gimmick... Did they think this was the only way people would cheer him?

This was a very weird time for TNA. Dixie had already been trying to make the company WWE/WCW lite but in 2010 she really made it just that. Brought in Hogan and Bischoff, got rid of the six sided ring, added a ramp etc.

The wrestlers/personalities that Hogan brought in were head scratchers as well. Guys like Scott Hall, X Pac, Val Venis, Mr Anderson, Orlando Jordan, Ric Flair, Nasty Boys, and Bubba The Love Sponge :mjpls:. These acquisitions proved to be anti-draws as TNA's original move to Monday Nights lasted only two months.

I'll admit, I was excited about the move at first, I thought I was about to experience what 13 year olds in the 90s experienced, two badass wrestling shows in one night, but it was so disappointing. Hogan made it all about himself, Abyss was turned into a joke, they rehashed the Triple H/Ric Flair student and teacher storyline with AJ Styles and Ric Flair, they rebooted the Four Horsemen and there was another lame attempt at an ECW reunion.

Don't even get me started on the bootleg NWO ripoff Immortal. The way it started was hilarious and the Impact aftet was comedy, Hogan trying to act all young and cool when he had a broke hip, Bischoff using his whole "I love each and every one of you" shtick, very cringeworthy. In fact, the opening promo after BFG 2010 lasted 45 MINUTES.
