Going off of this thread, let's put some respect on Mario's more overlooked entries.

Super Mario 3 and World are obvious goats, so I'm leaving those off of the list. Same thing goes for 64.
I'm also putting the OG Mario Kart on the poll, since people tend to argue that it's outdated and hasn't aged well. I still rock with it.
You can debate on whether or not Mario RPG was underrated, but I'm putting it on the poll just because it was the only Mario RPG with no true followup or sequel. My boys Mallow and Geno deserved better :to:

I didn't have enough poll options to cover everything, so if I missed your top picks, go ahead and share in the comments.

While we're on the subject, shout-out to the 1994 Donkey Kong Remake for Game Boy. That game was heatrocks, and nobody EVER seems to talk about it.

The year 3030
DK 94 is indeed dope...so is its spiritual successor, Mario vs DK

Mario vs DK sequels were kinda :unimpressed: since they moved to the minis and it was more lemmings esque than DK 94 style

I'd argue OG Mario land is underrated cause all the mario lands after it surpassed it...OG had some neat ideas w/ the shooter levels and bouncing ball fire ball

was that game really underrated tho?

my cousin and I loved that game but I can’t remember or probably just don’t know how it was received when it was released

Bros 2, Land 2 and Donkey Kong 94 are my personal top 3 with Super Mario Kart and RPG just barely missing the cut.

It's a real shame that Tatanga from the SML games never appeared anywhere else.
Him and Wart would have been better choices for Mario Tennis/Party/Kart than that lame Waluigi :scusthov:

im gonna go untraditional and just say Mario Kart 1992

it doesnt get the same love as all the titles that passed it up

but when it came out in 1992 it was a game changing juggernaut, just completely game changing and genre defining game that broke alot of controllers

This was a hand me down game we got from one of my older brothers friends. Easily put 100+ hours into that game back then
