It wasn't just like gentrification. These people were not taken from the woes of poverty and placed in rich communities to live lavishly. What I'm saying is, they were not placed in alien communities and simply started wrecking shyt because that's their nature. What happended is, they were placed in similarly circumstanced (POOR!) neighborhoods in foreign cities and now were at odds at the people in those communities who already have their food chains in place. They were put in these environments and by attempting to eat how they knew how (w33d, etc.) they were now fukking up the food chains of the people who were already there. That is where the spike in violence came from. Granted, they may have bought an unfamiliar aggression to some of these enviornments they were put in but u best believe the nikkas in those environments adapted cause if they didnt you'd be hearing "N.O. nikkas run ATL" or "N.O. nikkas run H-town".
