coldest rejection I think I got was many moons ago

I was a very young Neo and I had met this chic who worked in the mall

I'm there kicking it with her a lil bit and it seemed (to me) like we were vibing

so later that day, I happened to be in Wally world and I'm walking through the door and there she comes in

so I walk up to her and start trying to chat some more

nothing major, just some, "Hey, what's up! "


I don't remember exactly what she said breh (I've LITERALLY blocked out a lot of my memories from back when I was a simp. I'm not joking when I tell you that it's all a haze)

but it was something to the effect of "LEAVE ME ALONE"

I remember some older breh hearing the commotion and turning around and looking like

Gather all my balls and step to the girl I've been in love with since 1st grade.
Tell her I like her...she busts me out in front of the whole class with "WHAT? YOU THINK I'D GO OUT WITH YOU!?!?!".
They heard her on the adjacent hallway she was so loud.
The laughter was even louder...lasted for days.
Didn't speak for a month afterwards.
Didn't talk to girls for years.

7th grade, saw her in the hallway in middle school...pushed her down the stairs. Suspended.
8th grade, saw her in the lunchroom...put bleach in her food. Twice. Suspended.
Got sent to military school for...adjustment/reform.
Learned more ways to kill and hurt.
9th grade, saw her riding her bike with her little sister down a big hill in the neighborhood.
Picked up the smoothest rock I could find, gauged the distance according to her speed, and hurled it at her.
Hit her square in the back so hard she fell off the bike into traffic and almost got run over by a car coming up the hill.
11th grade, watched her home, figured out her patterns, targeted her from the rooftops with a hunting grade slingshot packed with nails.
Luckily...for the first time, I missed.

First year of college...
Run across her in the neighborhood and for some reason...she wants to be friends.
Walls destroyed, anger dissipated, completely unaware she has grown into her female predatory skills.
Go to the movies thinking everything is cool.
She tells me to walk first because it's dark...I go merrily down the aisle.
*BAM*
Pain in my back...my tailbone...dropped my drink....falling to my knees...turn around to see what...who...hit me.
She's standing over me looking down at me...says...

Helps me up and we watch our movie.
My ass hurts.
