From Youth Thug to Lil Wayne to Snoop to Chris Brown to many more. They all proudly proclaim their gang ties publicly. Why do we not care?

Because along with Movies, tv shows or any type of music including hip hop I don't give a shyt what people represent cause I won't allow it to effect my kids or myself if I ain't feelin it.
You be acting like that principal who was on O'Reilly Factor. Bunch of kids running around un supervised emulating the shyt they see/hear isn't a problem to most of these rappers, it isn't their responsibility

They're around but they're not considered cool to the youth esp those who come from weak family structures who are more impressionable to the media influence and peer pressure

Also gangsters and drug dealers tend to get fast easy money and that's more appealing to a poor kid than the slow legal route

Children are exposed to a lot more than most kids in other country are exposed at a faster rate,

And there aren't any laws are out there protecting them because in this country if it can make a dollar its "all good in da hood"

DETROIT — Insane Clown Posse's latest gig? A federal court.

It's not a performance by the Detroit rap-metal duo, but arguments by lawyers who say Insane Clown Posse's fans have been unfairly targeted by police. A 2011 FBI report described the fans, known as Juggalos, as a "loosely organized hybrid gang."

An appeals court in Cincinnati heard arguments Thursday, after a Detroit federal judge said the U.S. Justice Department isn't responsible for how authorities use a national report on gangs.

The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan says the free speech and due process rights of Insane Clown Posse and its fans are being violated.

The members of Insane Clown Posse are Joseph Bruce, known as Violent J, and Joseph Utsler, known as Shaggy 2 Dope.

Somebody has to ask these questions. We are a conditioned people. We simply "accept" things. Known gangmembers have such a big platform to influence. We find nothing wrong with this. I couldnt imagine Justin Bieber shouting out his blood or crip ties and not facing a backlash. Meanwhile Chris Brown, Young Thug, Lil Wayne and others are allowed to freely roam and gets celebrated dispite their known gang ties. Like somebody else said in another thread, the black race is backwards. We dont care about our own image. We reward and promote ignorance. Im just trying to get us to "see" things differentg
