In a country that has a gdp per capita less than Ethiopia, most politician have supercars and live like rock stars. Despite the fact that he single handedly destroyed his peoples economy and exasperated instability in the congo. I keep running into folks who look up to mugabe like hes some bastion of black power. I get that he kicked out the cacs and the other parasites who were holding alot of Zimbabwes wealth but its leaders like him that fuked up Africa the most after independence. Zimbabwe now has an unemployment rate of 80 percent. His cronies have taken alot of the countries wealth and has turned Zimbabwe from the breadbasket of Africa to a major food aid recipient with a few years

Zimbabwe, South Africa, two prosperous countries under the white rule became a corrupt and economic declining state with the black leadership, but no one want to held Mugabe and Zuma accountable for that because these negros are still playing the race card to win the black votes. Mugabe could have done things so differently if he cared for his people, but the dude only cared for his own and his cronies hip pocket. What hes done to his country since independence is a textbook example of what no newly independent african nations should ever do for the purpose of progress. He should have taxed the white zimbabwe farmers more instead of taking their lands to fund education programs for the youth who would eventually takeover the agricultural industry, use Zimbabwes resources such as diamonds to fund modernisation programs and to encourage investment.
