shyt is horrible. Even R&B artists are singing over trap beats.

If Luther Vandross was alive, even he would have to sing over that garbage just to get radio play:

here and nowwwwww...*stuttering hi hats and snares*...i promise to love faithfullyyyyyyyyy.......

It is based off of bass, and horror movie scores.
When did the theme song to Halloween or don't stop get it, get it,...

Doo doo brown,...

I wanna fukk you in the ass
Bang beng bemg
Skeet skeet skeet

When did that stuff ever not get a room full of black people to act a fool, or a reaction.
In the past thirty years, damn near.

Jazz had a skill base and culture or era.
Hip hop is not credited.
Yet, hip hop made jazz prevalent and relevant way past its era.

Rnb, was based on 1950's I love huh, imma marry you, girl.
you the only one baby aesthethics.
Built off of taking church music and vibes.
Then dirtying it up a bit,...
Once that model of America was phased out when it came to the happy home.
After civil rights and the welfare movement, destroyed the core values of that era.
Along with the main content of rnb music as a foundation.
Rnb's non-cultural social foundation died as well as its original sonic presentation.
To be overrun by rap aesthetics sonically.
To give it legs past what it was.
plus rnb has to look to hip hop.
As.it has no culture.
Plus it has no way of providing an education in music as a foundation as a genre.
As innercity school no longer have music course offerings to educate children with talent as a gateway.
Plus,....the protestant aesthetic of the government religious slave era aesthetic of church is first.
Is no longer prevalent for the government anymore.
after corporations became relevant again after the late depression.

what will soon happen is the aesthetic of the horror movie score sound of trap rap.
Will become the new foundation of this era.
In the same way funk was the foundation of the ol school way of thought originally.
As a building block of what rap is to be identified with, immediately and sonically.
As, the culture of hiphop is forced further away from rap.
Rap, will lose its connection to any foundation.
Giving way to being overprocessed and taken over by gays in house.
Unless someone stops that bullshyt from occurring.

The end is near. Recently I have seen artist and A+R's alike flat out say they don't want anymore trap beats when they are requesting beats from producers. It's sort of messed up to because so many of these producers entire sound is based solely off of the trap sound. That's literally all they know how to make.

Trap rap in 2012 Atlanta is like the Boom Bap rap in NY back in 2002: oversaturated and on the verge of a major fall off. Cats gotten too comfortable and lazy. Of course these major record execs are dying for something original, cause its a new decade.

Wait till another young producer with a young rapper come up with something :ooh: and original in 2013. It will make Trap Rap :rip: and :flabbynsick:

Its time.

nikkas don't understand how long hood nikkas from the south have been listening to bass heavy tracks with dope-murder content. As long as it's street nikkas and bytches wantin to shake their ass below the mason-dixon trap music ain't gonna die. The Lil Jon-Three Six era of 01-04 ushered the sound in and it's still the most popular shyt 10 years later..as long as it keeps evolving and don't get stuck in cement like G-Funk and the Soul Sample era's I don't see it goin nowhere anytime soon.

Trap Music only comes from atlanta, and atlanta only.

other rappers might use them beats, but it aint trap music unless ATL nikkas is rapping bout ATL shyt on them.

 PROLIFIC POSTING O.G!! :win:

people MUST realize also..that TRAP MUSIC is not a southern version of COKE RAP .....

Yet even though Cocaine is highly refrenced....

an actual "Trap" is where all kinds of shyt is being sold in that hood as well as recreational activies such as gambling, playing video games, and even tricking...

everything is being hustled from white t-shirts to rims....it's just a blackmarket venue

i'm from Georgia so i've seen and been inside plenty of "traps" i remember this one "trap' which was basically a double wide trailer where you could get your weed, buy some liquor (usually moonshine) even on sundays, gamble and when nighttime hit real late...they had scrippers come by that would trick wit niccas as well...and gottdamn niccas use to have the meanest cookouts... :noah:

.Roger Wood sausages on dat grill with the Golden Grain likka....don't know what u missing nikka!! :damn:

GHETTO MAFIA defined that ...even before T.I put his stamp on it and made it the genre that it is....

"In the Paint" 1997 "straight from the dec"

"We in the paint
You wanna TRAP in my hood
But you can't
Pick up trucks
Mac 11s
Plushed out coups
357s
Quick to bust you
With this black stallion
And falling victim to a trigger
Of a little stallion
'Cause them young boys
Be weedin' and dustin'
"
