Winter storm warnings stretch from coastal Maine southward through New England, southeastern New York, and into eastern and south-central Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and parts of northern Delaware, northern Maryland and northern West Virginia. This includes Boston, Providence, Hartford, New York City and Philadelphia.
A blizzard warning has been issued for Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket in Massachusetts, as well as eastern and central Long Island in New York.
Winter weather advisories, for the potential of lighter snow accumulations, are posted in parts of southeast New Jersey, central Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, northern Virginia, central and western Pennsylvania, upstate New York, Vermont and central New Hampshire.
