Yeah I agree. It's a dicey situation, but I couldn't just watch a dude choke a chic out like that. Once he grabbed her he had already won the fight, there was no need for continued choking, and even after he was done nobody even leaned down to make sure the girl was still alive.
He didn't spit on her, and he was trying to calm her down because she was in a heated exchange with someone else, IN HER OWN WORDS. Stand your ground in FL should apply here
