Would you say that you feel the US is safer from terror attacks than European countries?

Thanks for your replies. I know that we are not completely safe but for some reason I also feel that places like France and Germany are more likely to get caught off guard

Depends on the country in Europe. Isn't anyone trying to waste their time attacking Scotland for instance, more exposure in going for London.

And the last time a terrorist went for Glasgow he got fukk kicked out of him by baggage handlers and holiday makers. :birdman:

Depends how you look at. We're a larger symbol of what they view as the enemy so we're the target of more elaborate plots (see 9/11), but their proximity seems to make them more vulnerable to smaller scale "lone-wolf" type attacks.

I think, ultimately, all "western nations" are equally vulnerable, though, due to the random nature of terrorist attacks.

1. Geography
2. Our muslims GENERALLY integrate better

Geography is the US's biggest asset, always has been. And that's precisely why muslims (or anyone for that matter) integrate better in the Americas (US and Canada) : you select who comes over. First naturally : one can't take a fisherman's boat and row from Lybia to NY lol. Plus immigration policies are harsher over there then in Europe, so you select again those that you let in. Goegraphy also means that people can't go home every year and over time start losing the link to home. And finally for historical reasons you don't have large long-established muslim populations that have lived in semi-separated neighbourhoods for years. Biggest recent terror attacks in Europe were carried out by people who were born and raised here, not by recently arrived migrants.

Really makes no sense comparing the US or Canada to Europe on these issues, we only do it because of some lazy idea that the "Western world" is the same. Same goes with migration.

Depends on who you are and what kind of terror attacks you're talking about...

Afrikans are less safe from terror attacks in the U.S. than they are in European countries.

Yes America is by far the most hated but it's isolated. They don't particularly hate specific euro countries, they just think they're all dirty heathen godless scum and deserve to be wiped out or enslaved.

not necessarily. we suffer from domestic terror attacks and mass shootings by lone wolves frequently. and they're not always muslim or muslim sympathizers. take for example that white kid that killed 9 black people in a church. :sas2:

the proliferation of gun violence in america outstrips deaths from terror attacks in europe by far. not to mention if you're a person of color then you also have to consider excessive use of force by police is a very real threat to your health and freedom.

one could make a legitimate argument that you're less safe in america than you are in europe. terror attacks or not.
