You right, though I don't think the root of the current PS4s problems lie within how small it is... I honestly believe it's two things. First is the manufacturing, Sony is pumping a ton of PS4s into 30+ countries by the end of the year and I think Foxconn is rushing shyt just to get as many PS4s out the door as they can leading to a shoddy build ("wobble", faulty hdmi ports) with out much quality assurance. Two is where the most of these reports are coming from and it's the software, PS3 owners all know that is not Sony's strongest suit. One of the last recent firmware updates were bricking PS3s (one of yall made a thread about it... lol) This is the first x86 based operating system Sony had to put together since using the Power PC based Cell last gen, and the MIPS based Emotion Engine the gen before and the PS1 CPU. Sony made great strides with the XMB OS since 2006, but that took many firmware updates before it got to that point.
With the X1, I doubt their problems is going to be software based, Microsoft is king at that shyt... but I have an inkling its going to be hardware problems coming up to the X1 launch. MS is launching is less countries so their manufacturer is less pressured to get a fukk ton on X1s out the door... but judging from reports of yield problems and all the other shyt, it's not giving me much faith in that platform either. At the end of the day, as much as my inner Sony stan wants yalls launch to fail

, I honestly hope it doesn't go bad because I'm a console supporter and it would do nothing but give @
daze23 more excuses to make PC master race threads and me more of an excuse to get my current PC "gaming ready"
