Off the top of my head I can't think of a worse signing in this team's recent history than McRoberts. They've rolled the dice on guys that didnt pan out (Oden, Curry) but those were minimum contracts. This bum's contract is worth like 15-20 million

Let's be fair, that's a 19/20 year old kid who had no defined role. He hardly scratched the surface of his potential last year because he spent 75% of the time parked in the corner watching the offense, that's poor coaching. Probably played his best basketball of the year those last 3 games

I'm not arguing that at all. But he still has a lot of work to do. He was like Caron Butler was for us: no plays run for him but expected to still fit in into the offense.

Except he's not as athletic as Caron was and play below the rim for someone who's not a shooter. As I mentioned before the kid can't jump. Typically players that don't have much of a shot make up for it with athleticism jumping out the gym and running the court like a damn gazelle. He hasn't shown he can do either of those and still no shot at 19. But again he's only 19 and has plenty of time to work on it. Also here's very smart player for his age
