Everything was all good a couple years ago 
Just a few years ago Carolina QB Cam Newton & former 49er QB Colin Kaepernick were both All Pro QBs leading their franchises in the NFL to playoff and Super Bowl appearances.
However things have drastically changed, Kap started a league wide protest during the national anthem that led to him being blackballed and Cam got injured and then took an appalling trip to the "sunken place", but Cam seemed to have returned nome and recently spoke up for his brother Kap.
Now Time For Some Football Talk....
The Carolina Panthers open their season on the road in Levi's stadium against The San Francisco 49ers. Both ballclubs are coming off horrible 2016-17 seasons and look to bounce back this year. A win today could help propell them toward that goal.
The key to this game will come down to the run. Panther had a top 10 run offense last year, while the 49ers were abysmal in run defense. The Panthers will also see a familiar foe as former Falcons OC, Kyle Shanahan is now the Head Coach for the 49ers, so expect to see some creative offensive schemes that should challenge the Panther's young secondary.
