It’s the effort that is frustrating and Kerr with these rotations..
KD showed his ass..
Dray did his defense thing..
When Javale was in, there was energy..
But Steph was doing goofy shyt(especially towards the end)..
Klay disappears(which is frustrating)..
Nick Young constant 3point lampin and not creating better shot selections(defense and turnovers)..
It’s been the same scenario all season..
It’s just the effort..
Hopefully they fix the turnovers(always been the Achilles heel) and other lackadaisical play before the bad habits set in :yeshrug::francis:

Steph stay making dumb turnovers. His offense covers it up but if it was any other player it would be put on blast. That shyt be pissing me off and he's been doing it for years.

Like @Kovu said, no need to put to much into this.....I thought it was a great game despite the loss. I'm not happy with the lazy play but I hope they start cleaning that up after the break. I'm not worried about things yet, but there's obviously some stuff to be cautious of.

Here's an informative post from over at WW:

It's natural. This look of mortality that dubs seem to have gained.

(user) Klankalicious below mentioned that the dubs have lost the "juggernaut mystique"

These are little indicators - the no juggernaut mystique - just like the little bubbles before water comes to boil.

There was no such anxiety last year in march even though dubs were in a similar position hunting for #1 seed against the spurs... On march 12th last year dubs were 53-14 and spurs were 52-14. Spurs had won tie-breaker being 2-0 against the dubs.

This year fans can see there is "something" not working.

Explanations for that range from
-boredom,
-mental exhaustion,
-bench play or lack there of,
-losing in 1st qtr in 14 out of last 25 games,
-waiting for ASB to turn on the switch etc etc

Clearly this year they are starting slow in the 1st qtr. Is that boredom or have other teams become better or both?
Next year it will be even more challenging unless there are some structural changes. (The Bulls had to undergo that for their 2nd 3peat)

Rockets getting the 1st seed may turn out to be good for the dubs.

Here's hoping dubs regain that chip on their shoulders from here on out.

That we've been outscored in the 1st in 31 games (a 53% increase over last year) is truly :mindblown: to me. Of course other teams are coming at our necks every single game, but there shouldn't be any reason for us to allow that kind of play against us.

I really like Kerr as our coach (and wouldn't dream of making any changes there), but he should recognize when something isn't working, and I feel like he's trying to force the team to make the adjustments in the lineup that he's putting out there rather than him changing the lineup...and I think he's wrong in that approach.....

It'll be an interesting section of the season post ASB.....

I think Bell returning will be bigger than we thought initially. Having Javale out there opened some things up. It looks like teams are trying to stay disciplined and stick with shooters. When Zaza is out there, he's easier to recover on. When Javale is out there, its a dunk. He did looked lost on D, but that's Javale. Some of the things Zaza was solid at, just aren't enough anymore, since he's getting abused on defense.

I liked the defensive intensity in the 1st half last night. I thought they'd run away with the game, but the Clippers played tough. They need to tighten up for 4 quarters when it comes playoff time.

I agree with you guys....and it's crazy to say that this team needs a rookie, but hey, it is what it is. I think Bell gives an energy and activity level that a) the team feeds off of and b) other teams didn't anticipate.

I'm looking forward to getting the rook back in the lineup...
