thats one thing i give jay props for, he acted like a decent man over nas. nas dissed him many times not showing up here and there, ignoring him and all jay gave him was shout outs and respect. jay and the source is why i bought illmatic,

thats why i give jay props, dude is not a hater and is so disciplined its unrivaled. i saw this old mtv making the video with mariah carey for heartbreaker the version with the scarface tub and tv. Jay was in that and he did all his takes flawlessly and when they interviewed him in his little wife beater 'he said the water was freezing ... they didnt heat up the tub yet he did all his shyt no complaints. after all the years of reaching out to nas im glad his half a bill, but i got to salute jay for not being a hater.
