I think it's funny that "Real Hip-Hop" will change their stance on whatever it vaguely is more than women change tampons within an entire month, lmao.

80's: rapping about rapping, getting signed to a label, rocking parties, etc.

90's: guns, drugs, hos, bytches, violence, money, poverty, cliques, being exclusive and not popular, etc.

00's: identity issues, becoming multi-millionaries, making fun of stuff in the media, the rise of pop culture, getting personal, going out with people, being a "REAL RAP" artist (LOL), etc.

10's: being a loser, whiner, bytching, PC complainer, having no friends, dressing like it's Halloween 24/7, how many White fans you have, trendhopping, wave riding, etc.

Whatever happened to being yourself?

Exactly my point. Drill and trap is so similar only difference is really lyrical content. Ion hear atl rappers talm bout pulling up on the opps, banging on wax, or hitting stains. And I dont hear Chicago rappers talm bout juugin and finessin, or whipping in the pot.
Which is why it's funny seeing Chicago folks talk about influence when everything they've produced rap wise is just local variants of other regions music
This is a stupid game to play. Everybody influences everybody if we gon follow that line of thinking then NYC the only original city cause they created rap.

Now with this tooka shyt it's just blatant that she listen to chief keef.. that's literally making fun of a dead guy.. obviously she thought chief keef was just using that as slang for weed and didn't know any better. .
