From a technical standpoint, can any director reach what Kubrick did with 2001?
I mean it's universally accepted that this is one of if not the best looking movies of all time (the Film Room voted it so)...so with tech having advanced as much as it has in the past 50 years, can any director surpass what Kubrick did?
