Stole Timberlake's Spaceship-Coupe
The latest installment of the 007 series -- Spectre -- will once again feature an Aston Martin model. James Bond will be driving the new DB10, which Aston and EON Productions unveiled at the 007 stage at Pinewood Studios. Especially developed and built-in house for the film, the new DB10 is part of Aston’s celebration of 50 years with the 007 franchise.
Marek Reichman, Aston’s chief creative officer, collaborated with director Sam Mendes “to create the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.” Spectre will be shown on the big screen starting Nov. 6, 2015. Aston will produce just 10 units of the DB10 – all for the film at its Gaydon headquarters in Gaydon.
The DB10’s lines provide a glimpse of the next models that will be produced by the premium carmaker. On the other hand, German news outlet Wirtschafts Woche reported that nine cars built for the Spectre -- including five Range Rover Sport SUVs – were stolen from Dusseldorf, Germany, before they will be transported to the Alps for filming. Wirtschafts reported that the incident prompted for production of new cars for the shoot.
