I dunno...one of the tenants of a traditional babyface is that they will never lie to the audience.

If he says he's not going to do it at WM, then he's not going to do it at WM.

I'm not sure, given how traditionalist Cody/Triple H/Rock etc are as Dusty fans that they would proceed that way.

Rock was close to Dusty who was one of his mentors, so I imagine that was a genuine moment we saw between them in the ring (he also congratulated Cody on his NWA title win/Cody has been close to the Rock's family - when he came back I remember he hugged Rock's mom in the audience at a dark match).

Whatever they are doing I think would stay true to the traditional tropes.
